IS THE NAME IS CORRECT islam?

The name you typed reads ISLAM in the field, and the app is returning [NameMismatch], which means the string in LICENSE NAME does not match the string the .lic was issued for — it is compared exactly, including letter case and any spaces.

Two things to check first, in this order:

  • Exact name string — you posted name islam in lowercase, but the field shows ISLAM. Type it exactly as it was issued (no leading/trailing space, no autocapitalisation from the field).
  • The license file — the loaded file is license (1).lic, which is a browser duplicate. If you downloaded more than once, or an earlier request was answered, you may be loading an older license. Delete the old copies, keep one clean license.lic and re-import it.

Also worth confirming: the Device ID in the app now is BU2-RBX8-PDNW-LWYH-A2NJ-R65G-TR. The license has to be issued against that same ID and the same name pair, so if the enrollment was recreated after the request was sent, the license will not match either.

I cannot issue or re-issue a license from here — that goes through Bin/admin in this thread. To let them sort it quickly, post:

  • the exact name you want on the license (write it in the exact case),
  • the current Device ID from the app,
  • a fresh activation.req saved after those are set.

I have never obtained a license before. However, I downloaded this license twice, which is why the number “1” appeared in the license file name.

I have now added the first license file I downloaded, named islam, using lowercase letters with no spaces, but I am still experiencing the same problem.

Good — that rules out the duplicate-file theory. Both spellings were tried against the same license.lic and both return [NameMismatch], so the problem is not letter case on your side: that file was simply not issued for the name "islam" on this Device ID.

Two points from your own post that explain it:

  • You say you have never obtained a license before. That means what you downloaded twice is not a license issued to you — it is the same generic/other file both times, which is why license.lic and license (1).lic behave identically.
  • You posted only name islam in the thread (post #17080). No activation.req and no Device ID were sent, so no license could have been generated for BU2-RBX8-PDNW-LWYH-A2NJ-R65G-TR.

Note also that the app validates the name first, so even once the name is right you can still hit a device mismatch if the file was built for a different Device ID. That is why the request file matters, not just the name.

Next step — do this in the app and post the result here for Bin/admin, who issue the licenses (I cannot generate one from this reply):

  • Type the name exactly as you want it on the license (decide one form and keep it — for example islam).
  • Click Save activation.req and attach that file to your post.
  • Include the Device ID shown at that moment — currently BU2-RBX8-PDNW-LWYH-A2NJ-R65G-TR.

Do not re-enroll or reinstall after saving the request, otherwise the Device ID changes and the issued license will not match.

Thanks — that is what was missing. The attached activation.req looks like a proper request saved from the app: it carries the ACT‑V2 request header with HPTEDITORNEW-3.0.3 and SOL-HARDENED-2.0.0, followed by an RSA1 public key blob, 903 bytes total. Nothing more is needed from your side to get a license built.

One thing to flag so it is not issued against the wrong string:

  • In your screenshot the DEVICE ID field displayed BU2-RBX8-PDNW-LWYH-A2NJ-R65G-TR, while you now typed BU2-RBX8-PDNW-LWYH-A2NJ-R65G-TRSB. Most likely the field was just visually cut off and TRSB is the full ID — but please confirm it with the Copy HWID button and paste the copied value, rather than reading it off the box.
  • Name to be issued: islam, lowercase, no spaces. That is what will be compared byte for byte, so keep the field exactly like that after activation.

From here it is with Bin/admin — license issuing is not something I can do from this reply. Until the new license.lic arrives, do not reinstall, re-enroll or click anything that regenerates the enrollment, otherwise the Device ID changes and the file built from this request will fail. Also delete the old license.lic / license (1).lic first so you do not load the wrong one by accident.

It`s worked now

very thanks

Glad it's sorted — thanks for confirming. Keep that license.lic and the name spelling backed up in case you ever need to reload it.

is it another activation?

Yes — that is a separate activation, not the one you just finished.

What the screenshot shows:

  • Title bar reads HPT FILE EDITOR 2026 v3.8.35 - PAT-RSA1, while the copy you licensed is the 3.0.3 build (your activation.req carried HPTEDITORNEW-3.0.3 / SOL-HARDENED-2.0.0).
  • This window asks for a Hardware ID hex string plus a pasted PAT-RSA1 License Key — a key-in-a-box scheme. The 3.0.3 build used a name + activation.reqlicense.lic file. Different scheme, different build, so the license.lic and the name "islam" will not carry over.

So the short answer: your existing license stays valid for the 3.0.3 install, and this v3.8.35 needs its own key issued against 2007069b8af2e6685d41c0d60770e3b9.

Issuing that key is with Bin/admin, not something I can generate here. When you ask, post:

  • the Hardware ID taken with the COPY button (not typed from the box),
  • the exact version from the title bar — v3.8.35 PAT-RSA1,
  • a link or note of which download this v3.8.35 came from, since the resource attached to this thread is 3.0.3 and it may be handled in a different thread.

Until it is activated, do not reinstall or move it to another machine — the Hardware ID will change and the key would then be issued against a stale ID.
