About this release
This package is intended for professional diagnostics and service on Ford/Lincoln (and supported legacy Mazda platforms where applicable). It supports DTC read/clear, live data, self-tests, resets, service functions, PMI, and report export. For newer platforms that require FDRS, follow OEM guidance.
Compatibility
- Interfaces: VCM II / VCM3; selected J2534 pass-thru devices as supported by IDS.
- OS: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 / 11 (64-bit). Tested on Windows 10 LTSC (2019).
- Hardware: 4-core CPU or better, 8 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended), 40+ GB free disk space.
Install / Update notes
- Back up previous IDS logs/reports and any custom interface drivers.
- Remove older IDS builds if required, then install 132.02 and the included data/calibrations.
- Reboot after installation and confirm VCI/J2534 communication in System Utilities ▸ Test.
- If security software flags components, whitelist the installation folder and retry.
Good practice
- Use a regulated power supply during any programming session.
- Verify vehicle coverage in the release notes before attempting PMI or configuration.
- Observe OEM licensing terms for online functions and updates.
