Before anyone can do anything useful with that file, the read needs sorting out. The zip lists a single entry
ori at 1.47 MB — a full EDC17CP02 dump is 2,097,152 bytes (2 MiB), and the usual OBD "partial" read on these is 0x180000 / 1,572,864 bytes. 1.47 MB matches neither cleanly, so it's either a truncated read, a cal-only extract, or the listed size is being rounded oddly. I haven't opened it, so please post the exact byte count and a screenshot of the read log.
What to confirm
- Tool and read method (Kess/KTAG/CMD/Autotuner/Flex, OBD vs bench vs boot)
- Whether it's a virgin original or a file that's already been on the car after someone else's map
- DDE software / ZB number and hardware number (from the file header or INPA/ISTA)
- Exact model year and gearbox — E82 123d N47S with the 6-speed manual behaves very differently on torque limiters than an auto
- Hardware actually fitted for "stage 2" (downpipe, intake, intercooler, injectors/turbos untouched?)
On the request itself
DPF/EGR off is off-road/track use only in most regions and it won't pass any emissions inspection — assuming that's your situation. On EDC17CP02 it's not just the two switches: you need the regeneration triggers, soot model/loading calculation, DPF differential pressure and exhaust temp plausibility, plus the corresponding fault codes disabled in the DDE fault table, otherwise you'll get limp mode and permanent regen attempts. EGR needs the actuator maps zeroed plus the position/flow error monitors, or you'll trip 4A9x-type codes. And the file has to be checksum-corrected before flashing — EDC17CP02 will accept a bad file over bench and then brick your session.
On stage 2 for the N47S
Around 250-260 hp / 500+ Nm is the sensible ceiling on stock turbos and clutch. Watch the rail pressure — don't push past the stock limiter, the CP4 on these isn't happy. And if the timing chain history is unknown on that engine, more torque is not your friend.
