That Hardware Number 0 261 207 968 is indeed for the Alfa Romeo GTV/Spider 3.2 V6 24V (CF3).

Since you likely lost your original data, you just need to find a standard EEPROM dump for this specific ECU number.

Search the forum for a 0261207968 EEPROM file. Once you have that file, you (or someone here) can virginize it. Writing that new virgin file will restore the ECU and allow it to pair with your Yellow Box.

You haven't broken the ECU, you just need the right software to reload it.

  • Si vous avez vu un message d'erreur ou si rien ne s'est passé, votre ECU est probablement intact.
  • Si vous avez vu une barre de progression aller jusqu'au bout (100%), alors le logiciel a écrit quelque chose.

Si vous n'aviez sélectionné aucun fichier dans la case "File" avant de cliquer, le logiciel n'a normalement rien pu écrire.

Ce que je vous conseille de faire maintenant :
Essayez de faire une Lecture (Read) correctement cette fois-ci.

  1. Si la lecture fonctionne, ouvrez le fichier obtenu dans un éditeur hexadécimal (ou regardez sa taille).
  2. S'il contient des données (et pas seulement des
    Code: 
    FF FF FF
    ou
    Code: 
    00 00 00
    ), sauvegardez-le précieusement. C'est peut-être encore votre fichier d'origine.
  3. Si la lecture échoue ou si le fichier est vide, alors l'EEPROM a été effacée.

Dans le pire des cas (EEPROM effacée), ce n'est pas grave. Comme nous avons votre numéro HW (0261207968), nous pourrons utiliser un fichier standard d'une autre Alfa GTV 3.2 et le rendre vierge.

That is excellent news. If the log confirms Read OK, then you have successfully extracted the data and your ECU is safe.

Please make sure to save that file immediately in a secure location. This is your original backup.

Now you can proceed to modify this file (virginize it) and then write it back to the ECU.

Please upload the file you just read here. You will likely need to compress it into a .zip or .rar archive first, as the forum usually does not accept raw binary files.

Once attached, we can apply the virgin раtсh for you.
