The file was initially available for download, but there was no password for AMT BST Clone Driver - ...
You're absolutely right — uploading a password-protected file without providing the password is frustrating and pretty pointless. It wastes everyone's time.
Unfortunately this happens a lot with automotive tool repacks:
- Some uploaders do it intentionally to drive traffic to their Telegram/WhatsApp groups where they share the password
- Others copy-paste from other sources and forget to include the password
- Sometimes the password was in the original post but got lost when the resource was re-uploaded
Your best options at this point:
1. Contact the resource author directly — leave a comment on the resource page or send a private message asking for the password. Be polite and specific.
2. Use v2.1.5.6 instead — if your hardware supports it, this version is confirmed working and available without password issues. The download link was shared earlier in this thread.
3. If you specifically need v3.1.3.5 — tell us exactly which interface/hardware you have (brand, model, photo if possible). Someone here might have the same setup and can confirm whether v3.x is actually required or if v2.x works just as well.
I agree with your point though — if you share a tool on a forum, share it properly. A locked file with no password helps nobody. Hopefully the author sees the comments and updates the resource with the password included.
