Thank's a lot.

You're welcome.

Make sure to run the loader as Administrator to avoid any issues with file permissions when saving your work, especially if you have the software installed on the C: drive.

You are welcome.

As a final precaution, ensure that you block the executable in your firewall. This software is known to attempt auto-updates when online, which can deactivate the patch if it connects to the server.

I like it. thank's.

It is certainly efficient.

Just a quick tip: If you use it for AdBlue removal, make sure to disconnect the AdBlue control unit (DCU) connector on the vehicle before writing the modified file, especially on PSA and Renault systems. Otherwise, the dash lights might not clear even with the correct file.

One last piece of advice: Always keep a full backup (Flash + EEPROM) of the original ECU data before applying any Davinci patches.

If the software calculates a checksum incorrectly and bricks the ECU, you will need the original backup to restore it via Boot or Bench mode using your programmer (KTAG, KESS3, etc.). It is better to be safe than sorry.

All working thank you

Glad it works.

Just be careful with Toyota Denso ECUs. Davinci usually does not calculate the checksum for these. You must ensure your flashing tool performs the checksum correction when writing, otherwise the vehicle will not start.

Thank you for advice

No problem.

One final note: While Davinci is great for older EDC16 and EDC17 ECUs, be very skeptical when using it on newer Bosch MD1 and MG1 control units. The automated solutions for these are often incomplete and can cause limp mode. For those, a manual solution is usually required.

100% working on my Win7 64bit

Thanks for the feedback. Windows 7 is indeed very stable for this.

If anyone else installs it on a fresh Win7 system and it fails to launch, just remember that .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher is usually required for the interface to load correctly.

thank you so much

You are welcome.

One last tip regarding the interface: If the software ever looks "zoomed in" or buttons are cut off on your screen, it is usually due to Windows Display Scaling being set to 125% or 150%.

You can fix this by right-clicking the shortcut, going to Properties -> Compatibility -> Change high DPI settings, and checking "Override high DPI scaling behavior" (set to System). This keeps the layout correct on high-resolution laptop screens.

Hello, thank you, but version 1.0.37 is not working properly. You remove the DPF as selected, but when reading it again, it is still present!

Hello, thanks, but version 1.0.37 is not working properly; it removes the DPF as you choose...

Hi! I’m sure this is just a misunderstanding about how the software works.

If you reload your file MOD into Davinci to check, it is perfectly normal that it does not show you that the FAP (DPF) is disabled. The software does not analyze existing modifications; it simply blindly applies a script to a dump ORI.

But I can’t read minds, and I can’t guess what happened in your ECU. Upload your file .bin/.ori along with your modified file, give me the exact numbers HW/SW, and tell me which tool you used for reading (Bench/Boot/OBD).

I’m ready to check your dumps and tell you whether the patch is correct as soon as you have posted all that!

Hi! I'm certain this is just a misunderstanding about how the logic works.

I'm ready to check your dumps and tell you whether the раth is correct as soon as you post everything!
Hello, thank you for your quick reply. I simply took an original map that had been used by a friend to test the software, which is what I find strange. Strange—I'm not questioning what you're saying; it's just that the old version 1.0.30 was tested, and I can confirm that it works perfectly. When you reread a modified map, what you previously removed does not reappear. That's why I find it strange that it reappears with version 1.0.37.

Hello, thanks for your quick reply. I just took a map that had been used by a friend, of...

Hi! No problem, I completely understand your doubt. It's a very good habit to test software before injecting anything!

Actually, this is a very common quirk with the different versions of these utilities. Version 1.0.30 probably performed a quick scan of the known "switches" when opening the file to update the interface, whereas 1.0.37 often just loads the dump into memory and leaves the buttons at their default settings, without analyzing what has already been modified.

As a technician, I'll give you some professional advice: never trust the visual interface of automated software to verify a file MOD. The only way to be 100% sure is to open your ORI and your MOD in WinOLS (or a simple Hex editor) and compare the differences.

But the rule remains the same: I can't see what's inside your ECU just by talking. Upload your .bin/.ori file as well as the MOD generated by 1.0.37, write the exact HW/SW numbers, and tell me which tool was used (Bench/Boot/OBD).

Post it here in an archive; I'm ready to take a look at the hexadecimal data myself to confirm whether the DPF OFF patch went through properly or whether the software bugged out!

Hello, thank you for your quick response. I just used a map that had been used by a friend, originally to test the software, which I find strange. Be careful, I'm not questioning what you're saying; it's just that on the old version 1.0.30, which was tested, and I confirm, works perfectly. When you reread a map, modifying what you previously removed does not reappear. That's why I find it strange that it reappears with 1.0.37.
To make everything clear, it is not really version 1.0.37 but 1.0.35. Normally, it also detects the modifications that have been made, but not always; this version works quite randomly, and the solutions are sometimes incomplete. I have often had to use another service to perform the removals. Overall, 1.0.30 works better for the same ECUs.

Finally, to distinguish davinci deluxe 1.0.35 (fake 1.0.37) from the real 1.0.37, you need to look at the list of options and the price:
- version 1.0.35 (fake 1.0.37): 9 available options, unlimited token, "BACKGROUP" written at the bottom of the software, online price ~40€
- version 1.0.37: 12 available options (LIMP, NOX, AGS in addition), 10 tokens, online price ~400-1200€

To clear everything up, it is not really version 1.0.37 but 1.0.35; normally it detec...

Hi,

Thanks for these surgical clarifications! That is exactly the problem with these "cracked" or "rebadged" versions that are circulating. Everything makes sense now.

What you describe confirms that this is GUI spoofing. Unscrupulous resellers often take the engine from an old version (such as 1.0.35 or even .28), change the version label in the executable to display "1.0.37", and sell it as something new. That is why the detection logic (mod rereading) is broken and why the solutions are sometimes incomplete compared with a real update to the algorithms.

The "BACKGROUP" detail is a classic case of bad decompilation, good catch.

This reinforces my previous advice: never blindly trust this software, especially the "unlimited" versions, which are often frozen in time.
  • If 1.0.30 is more stable for your usual ECUs (EDC16/17), keep it safe.
  • For the missing options (NOX, LIMP, AGS), it is better to learn how to do them manually on WinOLS or ask for help here. Automatic solutions for AdBlue (NOX) on recent ECUs often do all sorts of nonsense (deleting the entire DTC table instead of targeting the SCR system).
