A modern black BMW is parked in a dark, clean garage, illuminated primarily by the bright screen of a laptop connected to its OBD port. The laptop screen displays a third-party automotive forum, specifically a thread about DIY coding, showing lines of code and diagnostic parameters. The scene creates a focused, high-tech atmosphere of a car enthusiast working on their vehicle at night.
Hello fellow members of binunlock!

I want to help our community grow. In this thread, I will find and share almost any automotive software that is being distributed for free on other public auto forums.

The #1 Rule: The software must not be a commercial product currently for sale by its developer. I will only share what is already in the public domain. My goal is to share freely available resources.

✅ WHAT YOU CAN REQUEST
  • Diagnostic software (for ELM327, K-Line, VCDS, Rheingold, etc.)
  • Electronic parts catalogs (EPC)
  • Publicly available firmware collections
  • Calculators and other utility tools

❌ WHAT YOU CANNOT REQUEST
  • Paid software that is currently being sold by the developer.
  • Private or "club-only" tools not meant for public sharing.

HOW TO MAKE A REQUEST

To help me find exactly what you need, please follow this simple format. Requests that do not follow the format may be ignored.

1. Full name and version of the software (if known).
2. Car make/model the software is for.
3. A direct link to the topic on the other forum where you saw the software. This is the most important step!

Example of a perfect request: said:

I will process requests as quickly as I can. When your requested software is uploaded to our forum's "Resources" section, I will mention you in this thread using @yourusername.

Thanks for your attention, and happy motoring!

anyone have xentry for win11?

anyone have xentry for win11?

Please review the rules in the first post. To fulfill a request, we need a direct link to the thread on the other forum where the software is hosted.

Xentry on Windows 11 can be tricky depending on whether you need OpenShell (XDOS) or Passthru (XPT). Most recent versions (like 09.2023 or 12.2023) work on Win11 but often require specific secure boot workarounds or patches.

If you have a specific release in mind that you saw elsewhere, please reply with the required format:

  • Software Name/Version
  • Car Make
  • Link to source thread

Once you provide the link, I can check if it's eligible for upload to our Resources section.

i couldnt find a link to a thread with xentry, i was wondering if anyone has it in general?

i have a tactrix openport 2.0 passthru cable to use with it, im not after a latest latest version, just something that works with mercs below 2019. need it for a w204 c250 2014 at the moment.

thanks

i couldnt find a link to a thread with xentry, i was wondering if anyone has it in general?

i have ...

Since you are using a Tactrix Openport 2.0, you specifically need the Passthru (XPT) version of Xentry, not the OpenShell (XDOS) version which is for SD Connect C4/C5 multiplexers.

For a 2014 W204, you don't need the newest release. In fact, versions around 2020/2021 are often more stable for Passthru devices on older chassis. However, getting older versions to run natively on Windows 11 can be a headache due to driver signing and Secure Boot requirements.

Regarding the request:
As mentioned in the first post, I can only help mirror files if you provide a source link. I cannot distribute software directly without a reference source.

I recommend you search Google or other auto forums for:
Code:
Xentry Passthru 2021.6.3
or
Code:
Xentry Passthru 2023.06

Once you find a forum thread (even if the links there are dead or require registration), paste the link here using the required format:

  1. Software: Xentry Passthru [Version]
  2. Make: Mercedes-Benz
  3. Link: [URL to the thread you found]

Once you post that, I can check if I can retrieve the files and upload them to our Resources section for you.

Thanks for the link! I will review the files in that thread and work on getting them mirrored to our Resources section. I will tag you here when it is ready.

To answer your questions:

Is 2021.6.3 the best version?
For a 2014 W204 using a Clone Tactrix, yes, Xentry Passthru 2021.6.3 is an excellent choice. It is a "sweet spot" release because:
  • It fully covers your vehicle chassis.
  • It is much easier to activate than 2023/2024 versions.
  • It does not require the complex ZenZefi certificate workarounds that newer versions need for basic diagnostics.

Important Notes for Windows 11:
Since 21.6.3 predates Windows 11, you may encounter installation hiccups.
  • You will likely need to disable Secure Boot in your BIOS.
  • You may need to disable Driver Signature Enforcement to get the older drivers to load.

CRITICAL WARNING regarding your Cable:
Since you purchased a clone (AliExpress), DO NOT install the drivers from the official Tactrix website and DO NOT let Windows Update automatically install drivers for it. The official drivers contain code that detects clones and can permanently "brick" (destroy) the cable.

Only use the drivers provided on the CD that came with the cable (usually an older version like 1.44) and keep your laptop offline when the cable is plugged in if you haven't blocked driver updates.

Stay tuned for the upload notification.

HP tuner v 5.3
Tuning software
No link

I cannot fulfill this request for two reasons:

  1. You did not provide a source link as required by the thread rules.
  2. HP Tuners VCM Suite is a commercial product currently supported and sold by the developer.

However, you should know that the VCM Suite software (Editor and Scanner) is actually free to download directly from the official HP Tuners website. You do not need a сrаскed version to install it.

The catch is that the software only works if you own their hardware interface (MPVI2, MPVI3, etc.) and purchase credits for the specific vehicle you want to tune.

If you are looking for a "сrаскed" version of v5.3 to use with a generic J2534 cable to avoid buying their hardware, that does not exist in the public domain. The security is hardware-based.

If you have a link to a specific forum discussion where a modified version is being shared, please post the link using the required format, and I will evaluate if it meets our rules.

Code:
Interface = J2534

Fique atento para a notificação do upload.
