Quick question: Some of the files which are located in the SVT folders are green with a white down arrow. What does that mean?

That is a good sign.
In the SVT Tree (the list of modules), that icon (often looking like a green checkmark or a green shield with a symbol) next to a CAFD file means:
1. File Found: E-Sys has found the matching coding data file in your laptop's library (PSdZData).
2. Ready to Code: The module is readable and can be coded.
If you saw a Red icon or a missing file symbol there, it would mean your software data is too old for the car, or the file is missing. Since they are green, you are good to go!

Before you go hunting for downloads, make sure you clicked the correct button to read the modules. This is a very common mistake.
1. Check which button you clicked
- If you clicked Read SVT (under the VCM section), it reads the car's history of what modules it thinks it has. This list is often incomplete or outdated.
- You must click the Read (ECU) button (usually located to the right of the Read SVT button). This queries the actual hardware physically connected to the car right now.
2. If they are still missing (or Red/Blue)
If you used Read (ECU) and the CAFD files are still missing or appear with Red or Blue icons:
- Then yes, your PSdZData library is too old for the firmware version currently on your car (your car has been updated by a dealer more recently than your software files).
- You need to find the latest PSdZData Lite.
- You do not need the "Full" version. Full is huge (100GB+) and is only used for flashing firmware updates. "Lite" is small and contains everything needed for coding.

It is likely available right now. If your car is running that version of the firmware, the corresponding PSdZData has already been released.
You just need to find the link for the latest version.
1. Where to look: Check the sticky threads in the "Coding" or "Software" section of this forum. There is usually a thread titled "Software Links" or "E-Sys + PSdZData".
2. What to get: Look for the latest PSdZData Lite. (You do not need "Full").
Once you have it:
1. Delete the contents of your current
C:\Data\psdzdata folder (or wherever your library is).2. Extract the new files into that folder.
3. Restart E-Sys and click Read (ECU) again.
The missing files should now appear.

If you are looking for the E-Sys Launcher PRO download, please check the very first post of this thread. The download links are usually located there.
However, just to clarify regarding your earlier mention of "missing files":
- Missing ECUs or Red/Blue CAFDs: This is caused by outdated PSdZData. The Launcher will not fix this. You need to update your data library (PSdZData Lite) to match your car's firmware level.
- Unmapped CAFDs (seeing dots
.instead of text): This is what the Launcher fixes. It maps the raw data so you can read the function names for FDL Coding.
If you are only doing the VO Coding we discussed (removing option 524 to fix the headlight error), you actually do not need the Launcher. You can run standard
E-Sys.exe directly, and it will work perfectly for calculating the FA and coding the ECU. You only need the Launcher if you plan to change specific custom features later (like Video in Motion, folding mirrors, etc.).
