Hi,

The Galletto 1260 (EOBD Programmer) uses a standard OBD2 connector. For bench flashing an EDC15P+ via K-Line, here's what you need to know:

Galletto 1260 OBD2 Pinout (relevant pins)

  • Pin 4 — Chassis Ground (GND)
  • Pin 5 — Signal Ground
  • Pin 7 — K-Line (ISO 9141-2)
  • Pin 16 — Battery Positive (+12V)

EDC15P+ Bench Wiring

For bench connection to the EDC15P+ ECU connector, you need to wire these from the Galletto OBD plug:

  • OBD Pin 7 (K-Line)EDC15P+ Pin 25 (K-Line)
  • OBD Pin 4 or 5 (GND)EDC15P+ Pin...

Hi,

EDC15P+ Bench Wiring

For bench connection to the EDC15P+ ECU connector, you need to wire these from the Galletto OBD plug:

  • OBD Pin 7 (K-Line)EDC15P+ Pin 25 (K-Line)
  • OBD Pin 4 or 5 (GND)EDC15P+ Pin 22 (Ground) + battery negative
  • OBD Pin 16 (+12V)EDC15P+ Pin 1 (Permanent +12V / KL30)
  • You also need to supply +12V to Pin 3 (Ignition / KL15) on the EDC15P+ — you can bridge this from Pin 1 or wire it separately from your bench power supply

Bench Setup Summary

Code:
Power Supply 12V+ ──────┬──► EDC15P+ Pin 1 (KL30 / +12V permanent)
                        ├──► EDC15P+ Pin 3 (KL15 / Ignition)
                        └──► Galletto OBD Pin 16

Power Supply GND ──────┬──► EDC15P+ Pin 22 (Ground)
                        └──► Galletto OBD Pin 4 & 5

Galletto OBD Pin 7 ───────► EDC15P+ Pin 25 (K-Line)

Important Notes

  • Use a stable 12V bench power supply (at least 2-3A).
  • The Galletto 1260 communicates via K-Line only — this is fine for EDC15P+ since it's a K-Line ECU.
  • In the Galletto software, select the correct ECU type: EDC15P+ (VAG, Bosch, etc. depending on your vehicle).
  • Make sure you read first and save the original file before writing anything.
  • The Galletto 1260 is a budget tool — the read/write can be slow and sometimes unstable. If the connection drops, check your wiring and try shorter cables. Keep the USB cable as short as possible.
  • Some clones have issues with checksum — always verify your read by reading twice and comparing the files.

What vehicle/engine is this EDC15P+ from? That way I can confirm the exact ECU connector pinout for your specific variant.
