The V89 does not recognise the programmer. I reloaded the drivers and still no good.

The V89 does not recognise the programmer. I reloaded the drivers and still no good.

What iProg hardware are you using — original or clone? And which clone version if it's a clone?

Also:
  • What Windows version are you running?
  • Does the programmer get detected in Device Manager when plugged in (check under Ports or USB devices)?
  • Do older versions from the pack (e.g. v77, v82, v84) detect the programmer, or is it the same issue across all versions?

V89 is known to have compatibility issues with some older clone hardware. If older versions like v77 or v82 work fine, then it's likely a firmware/hardware mismatch with v89. In that case, stick with the latest version that recognizes your device.
