The activation request is clear, although the requested addition is not covered by the account allowance.

Current usage: 1 registered personal HWID for xDecoder 14.0, with an account allowance of 1.
This request: 1 new distinct HWID. Available slots before this request: 0.

Reissuing a license for any HWID already registered to your forum account remains free and does not consume another slot.

Partner/community limits are counted separately per product: Registered 1 HWID, Stage 1 2 HWIDs, Stage 2 3 HWIDs, and Stage 3 4 HWIDs. Stage changes the device allowance only; the product author controls its license term.

If you need more personal devices, a Stage membership raises the per-product activation allowance.

If the app itself opens but the license won't take, the first thing worth checking is whether the HWID shown inside xDecoder 14.0 is still the same string you posted (8A3C0E568283D8C2). That value is generated per machine — a Windows update, a NIC/adapter change or swapping the drive it runs from can shift it, and then a correct license still reads as invalid.

Other things that produce exactly this symptom:

  • Files from an older xDecoder copied into the 14.0 folder. The installer notes say to use a new clean folder — mixed DLLs/packs from 12.x can break license validation even with a valid key.
  • Running from a network share, USB stick or a path with a mapped drive letter.
  • Antivirus/Defender quarantining one of the dropped files, or the app not being started as admin the first time so it can't write its config.
  • Windows date/time off — signature checks fail silently.

What I'd need to move this forward:

  • The exact text of the error/message the program shows (screenshot or copy-paste of the box).
  • The HWID as displayed in the app right now, next to the one you sent.
  • Full version shown in the About/Help window, and your Windows build.
  • Whether this is a first install on that machine or a reinstall over an older version.

If everything matches — same HWID, clean 14.0 install, no error beyond "license invalid" — then it's an account/license-side matter that only Bin or admin can reissue, and they'll need your forum username plus the HWID when you raise it.
