Confirmed, the VPN trick worked for me as well. Thanks for the heads up.

Just a quick question regarding the UI launch: does this tool automatically handle the service restart, or do we need to kill the process manually first?

Usually, I run this in CMD to be safe before messing with certificates to ensure the file isn't locked:

Has anyone tested this on the latest 2023.12 release yet? I want to make sure the backend certificate restore doesn't conflict with existing patches.

It is almost certainly your browser (Chrome or Edge) or Windows Defender blocking the download because it detects the nature of the tool.

  • Check your browser downloads page (Ctrl + J) to see if the file was blocked. You usually have to select "Keep" or "Keep dangerous file".
  • Disable Real-time protection in your Antivirus temporarily.

Since you already grabbed it on your phone, just transfer it to your PC via USB cable. It is much faster than fighting with the browser security settings.

Once you get it running, make sure to follow the steps in order — start ZenZefi first, then launch the Offline Account Tool and hit refresh. If you do it the other way around, the certificate restore sometimes doesn't pick up the current session properly.

Let us know how it goes or if you run into any issues during setup.
