I am unable to use the file. It says the file was empty.

Please provide more specific details about the issue. "Not working" is too vague for us to help you.

• Does the program fail to open? (Check your Antivirus/Windows Defender, it likely quarantined the executable).
• Does it open but fail to connect to the ECU/Dash? (Check your COM port settings and Interface drivers).
• Are you running it as Administrator?

If the archive is actually damaged or the file is truly broken, you can report the resource to the moderators to request a refund, but verify your setup first. Most of these tools trigger false positives in AV software.

The program starts, but it doesn't do anything. I am attaching an EDC16 immo file from a Seat Leon for testing. I tried to apply 'immo off', but the program doesn't react to this file or any other file, for example, from a Skoda Octavia. Antivirus and malware protection are both turned off. The program works directly with files, not with devices on a COM port.

Here is the problem: your file is not an EEPROM dump.

Analysis of your file

File 03G906021AB leon.bin is 2 MB (2 097 152 bytes) in size and is completely filled with 0xFF - this is an empty/erased dump. Entropy of 0.00 bits/byte confirms that there is no data in the file.

What this program needs

The EDC16 IMMO ON/OFF function works with EEPROM dumps, not full flash dumps:

• For EDC16 (for example, 03G906021AB), EEPROM is the external 95320 chip (SPI EEPROM)
• The EEPROM dump size must be 4 KB (4096 bytes) or 8 KB, depending on the chip
• Your 2 MB file is either an empty full flash or an unsuccessful read

What to do

1. Read the 95320 EEPROM separately - via a programmer (for example, XPROG, Orange5, UPA, TNM5000 or even a cheap CH341A with a SOIC-8 clip)
2. The resulting file should be ~4 KB and contain real data (not solid 0xFF)
3. Load this EEPROM dump into the program - the IMMO ON/OFF function should correctly determine the immobilizer status

If you have a full flash dump read via OBD (for example, via MPPS, Galletto, KWP2000+), then you need to extract the EEPROM area from it, not load the entire file as is. But judging by the fact that your file is completely empty - the read simply did not work.

Try reading the unit again and make sure you get a valid dump with real data.
