No changelog was included in the post — just the tоrren*/setup files. You'd need to diff it against 4.58.x yourself or wait for someone to post release notes. Typically between minor ISTA+ builds the changes are updated diagnostic data (SDP/PSdZ), bug fixes, and occasionally new vehicle/ECU coverage, but nothing official gets published for standalone repacks.

That is a very old version. It’s difficult to find it still available anywhere — usually, only recent releases are shared.

Is there a specific reason why you need 4.32.15 in particular? If it’s for compatibility with a particular vehicle or hardware, tell us the model, year, and what you need to do (diagnostics, coding, programming) — the current version 4.59.40 might be sufficient.

My car is a BMW 1 Series (E82 generation)

For an E82 (1 Series), tell me just 3 things and I’ll tell you whether ISTA 4.32.15 is really needed or whether you can proceed with a newer release:

  • Year and engine (e.g. 118i/120d, benzina/diesel)
  • What operation do you need to perform: diagnostics only, codifica/adattamenti, or programmazione/retrofit?
  • Interface you will use: ICOM A2/A3 or ENET + laptop (and which software/driver you have)

For an E82 (1 Series), it only takes 3 hours, and you said it has been supported since ISTA version 4.32.15, so you can therefore be ahead with a newer version:

  • Year and engine (for example 118i/120d, essence/diesel)
  • What is the price for the operation: diagnostics only, codification/adaptation, programming/retrofit desired?
  • User interface: ICOM A2/A3 on ENET + laptop (and the logiciel/pilote here)
Year and engine: 2012 BMW 1 Series (E82), engine [N47 120 D]. (Note: I also have a 2012 X5 E70) Objective: Diagnostics only and clearing faults / basic adaptations (no major programming or control unit update planned). This is for personal diagnostic use on my own vehicles. User interface: This is where the misunderstanding lies. Your technician mentions an ICOM or ENET interface, but since my vehicles are from the E Chassis generation (2012), they do not have an Ethernet protocol in the OBD socket. I therefore use a physical K+DCAN cable (standard USB) configured on the COM port. This is precisely why your ISTA 4.57.21 version (which requires an ICOM or an ENET cable) cannot communicate with my E Chassis via my K+DCAN cable.

For E82/E70 (2012), you can generally use an even more recent ISTA release: the point is not the version (4.32.15 vs 4.57.x), but the transport/driver that allows you to communicate with your chassis.

In your case, however, I need a missing detail: you only tell me “K+DCAN USB cable on COM”, but I cannot determine with certainty whether it is configured for E-chassis (K-CAN vs D-CAN). Please reply with these 2 precise pieces of information:

  • What exactly is your K+DCAN USB interface? (marca/modello and whether it has selettore/switch or wires for selecting “D-CAN/H-CAN” or the 2-channel mode).
  • What driver/software are you using on the PC for the COM port? (e.g. FTDI/CH340 and which actual COM port you see in Windows).

Then I can confirm whether it makes sense to look specifically for ISTA 4.32.15 or whether you can safely go with 4.57.21 for diagnostics + fault-code deletion, using that setup.
Note: the statement “if you don't have ENET/ICOM you can't communicate” is not absolutely correct—it depends on how your K+DCAN is configurato/gestito.

Thanks for the changelog, roman66. Good info for the thread.

@Fio76 — note the DCAN cable support point. This 4.59.40 standalone rера** should work with your K+DCAN cable on the E82 and E70. You likely don't need to hunt for the old 4.32.15 anymore — give this version a try first.

👍 Fio76, vlas67 shared the links for ISTA 4.32.15 SEDOY + P Loader in the .txt file attached above.

In any case, the advice remains the same: first try the 4.59.40 standalone, which supports the DCAN cable — it is much more up to date. Keep 4.32.15 as a fallback.

vlas67's file contains only the SQLite for ES (Spanish) — version ES_4.37.40.

For FR (French), you should ask vlas67 directly whether they have one available, or look for the French language pack separately.

However — since you said you're Italian — do you really need FR, or did you mean IT? Please clarify so we can avoid confusion. 😉

I am Italian, but here at the workshop I need the French language.
