About MGD1FSC

MGD1FSC generates BMW engine ECU FSC files locally without requiring a DME read, ENET / OBD session or active vehicle connection during generation.

The software supports:

  • Single 188-byte FSC generation
  • 22 predefined FSC entries
  • Complete FSC ZIP package generation
  • Custom Application IDs
  • Remote Engine Start DME1 / DME2
  • Vmax DME1 / DME2
  • S58B30T0 FSC features
  • S63B44T4 FSC features
  • 34 interface languages

Important:

MGD1FSC generates FSC files only.

It does not write FSC data to the ECU through OBD / ENET and does not guarantee that a generated FSC will be accepted by a specific ECU.

FSC storage is performed separately with E-Sys. Only the status returned by the target ECU confirms acceptance.

When Reporting an Issue

Please include:

  • MGD1FSC version
  • Selected FSC feature or Support ID
  • Application ID
  • Vehicle / ECU information where relevant
  • Exact error message or application behavior

Please do not publicly post sensitive vehicle or license data unless it is specifically required for support.

Hi, that "license wrong for this hardware" message almost always means the license file doesn't match the exact HWID currently shown by the app. A few things to check on your side first:

  • Open MGD1FSC and confirm the HWID shown now matches the one the license was issued for. If you reinstalled, changed hardware, or ran it on a different PC/user, the HWID will differ and the old license won't validate.
  • Make sure you loaded the exact license file issued for your HWID and didn't rename or edit its contents.
  • Run the app so the HWID copies exactly as displayed — no extra spaces or missing characters.

Issuing/binding the license itself is an admin action, not something I can change from here. To get it sorted, post (or send to Bin/admin) your current displayed HWID exactly as the app shows it plus your forum username, and mention it's a re-issue because the previous key was rejected. The HWID you posted earlier was 125C426119DC360B00A2569702244EE2 — confirm whether that's still the one showing, or if it changed.

It says the code is wrong for my hardware number, when ive opened the app again the hardware number is now different to the one i posted
