Alright, let's forget all the complicated explanations. Here is the first and most important instruction simplified.
This is the only way it works.
FGTech Galletto Boot Mode - Basic Guide
1. Preparation
- Take a thin electrical wire.
- Wrap one end of the wire around the metal shell of the USB connector (this is GROUND).
- The other end is your "pen".
2. Finding the Correct Pin (Most Important Step)
Look at the circuit board so that the orange crystal is in the upper-left corner (as in your picture).
Count the silver legs starting from the upper corner downward:

Do this exactly in this order:
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
2. Place the end of the wire precisely on the 8th leg (counted from the corner).
3. Hold the wire in place. Do not let it touch the 6th leg.
4. Connect the USB cable to the computer.
5. Wait 3 seconds.
6. Remove the wire from the leg.
4. Test (Did It Work?)
- Did you hear a "CLICK"? -> Failed. You accidentally touched the 6th leg (Reset). Try again, but move the wire just slightly downward (toward the 8th leg).
- Was it QUIET? -> SUCCESS! You are now in Boot mode.
5. Programming
Once you have the "Quiet" result:
1. Open Flash Magic.
2. Select "LPC2119".
3. Press "Start".
If it clicks, you are too high up. Move the wire about 1 millimeter downward.
