Mazda ECU Sync#

Mazda ECU Sync is a specialized immobilizer synchronization utility for compatible Mazda dashboard and engine ECU memory dumps.

The program reads the original immobilizer data from a 93C56 dashboard dump and transfers the required synchronization data into a compatible 95160 ECU dump.

The dashboard file is opened strictly in read-only mode and is never modified. Only the ECU file is patched, after which the synchronized dump can be saved as a separate file.

Mazda ECU Sync tool for transferring immobilizer data from a 93C56 dashboard dump to a 95160 ECU file

Main Functions#

  • Load and analyze a Mazda dashboard 93C56 dump
  • Load compatible ECU 95160 memory dumps
  • Read the original immobilizer bytes from the dashboard
  • Detect the current synchronization state of the ECU
  • Display VIN, vehicle model and year when available
  • раtсh the ECU dump using the dashboard immobilizer data
  • Save the synchronized ECU file separately
  • Keep the original dashboard dump completely unchanged
  • Display file-processing and validation information in the integrated log

Supported Input Files#

Dashboard EEPROM:

  • 93C56
  • 256-byte dump
  • Read in x16 organization

ECU EEPROM:

  • 95160
  • 2 KB RAW dump
  • 4 KB BDM dump
  • 8 KB KTAG dump

The program automatically analyzes the loaded files and enables ECU patching only when the required data is recognized.

How It Works#

The original immobilizer information is extracted from the loaded dashboard dump. In the supported file structure, the relevant dashboard bytes are read from the area beginning at offset 0xD6.

The software then examines the ECU dump, displays its current state and applies the required synchronization data to the ECU file.

The dashboard dump is used only as the source of the original immobilizer data and will never be written or modified by the program.

Basic Workflow#

  1. Create secure backups of the original dashboard and ECU dumps.
  2. Launch Mazda ECU Sync.
  3. Click Browse next to Dashboard 93C56 and load the original 256-byte dashboard dump.
  4. Confirm that the original immobilizer bytes are detected.
  5. Click Browse next to ECU 95160 and load the corresponding ECU dump.
  6. Review the detected ECU state, VIN, model and year information.
  7. Click раtсh ECU & SAVE.
  8. Choose a new filename and save the synchronized ECU dump.
  9. Verify the resulting file before writing it back to the ECU.

Important Notes#

  • The dashboard and ECU dumps must belong to the same vehicle repair or authorized replacement procedure
  • Always preserve untouched copies of both original files
  • Do not overwrite the original ECU dump
  • Use the correct memory organization when reading the 93C56 dashboard EEPROM
  • Supported 95160 dump sizes include RAW, BDM and KTAG layouts shown above
  • A file with the correct size is not automatically guaranteed to have a supported internal structure
  • Review all detected information before saving or programming the patched file
  • Reading and writing the physical EEPROM or ECU must be performed with compatible professional equipment
  • Use a stable power supply during ECU programming

No license activation or HWID request is required. Extract the downloaded package and run the application directly.

This software is intended for authorized automotive repair, ECU replacement and immobilizer synchronization work.
