ZenZefi Certificates Update
Mercedes XENTRY / PassThru Connectivity
This update provides a complete and up-to-date set of certificates required for server communication and stable XENTRY Diagnostics operation.
Validity Period:
The After-Sales certificate is valid until August 26, 2026.
Archive Contents (Zenzefi_26_08_26.7z):
The archive contains the following 3 files:
- After-Sales_STANDARD_20260826.p12 — Main client certificate (PKCS#12) for diagnostic access rights.
- Root-CA.crt — Core Root certificate (Root Authority) for Windows trust store.
- Backend-CA.crt — Backend server certificate for establishing a secure connection.

Brief changes vs 2026-03-04 bundle
- New consolidated After-Sales certificate file:
After-Sales_STANDARD_exp20260503.p12.- Validity window extended up to 03.05.2026 with refreshed CA / CRL chain.
- Tested with current XENTRY / OpenShell builds and Passthru/DoIP connections.
- Same simplified structure as previous pack – single PKCS#12 file plus short readme (no extra CA folders).
Update tips
- Remove any old Zenzefi / After-Sales STANDARD certificates from the Windows certificate store and from XENTRY tools.
- Import
After-Sales_STANDARD_exp20260503.p12into the appropriate certificate store according to the included instructions.- Confirm the new certificate chain is trusted, then restart ConfigAssist and XENTRY / OpenShell.
This update only replaces the After-Sales STANDARD certificate file with a newer bundle valid until 03.05.2026. All other installation steps and system requirements remain the same as described in the main resource description.

• Improved compatibility with recent XENTRY/OpenShell builds and Passthru/DoIP connectivity.
• Replaced/rotated intermediate roots to resolve “expired/chain not trusted” prompts; cleaner online login and SCN access.
• Pack structure: \P12\ (new bundle), \CA\ (root/intermediate), \ReadMe\ (import/cleanup steps).
Update tips: remove old Zenzefi certs, import the new *.p12, install updated CA chain, then restart ConfigAssist/XENTRY.
