Stage 2 here is basically the DPF-off aggressive map with reworked injection, rail pressure and boost limiters — the listing gives you the headline number of 286PS / 210kW, but it doesn't publish target boost or a torque figure, so I can't quote you a real Nm/boost value from this file. Anything I'd throw out would be a guess.

For reference on the platform (general, not from this file): a healthy 335d M57D30 on a Stage 2 map typically lands around 620–680Nm and peak boost in the ~1.8–2.1 bar absolute region on the stock VNT setup, but that varies a lot with fuel, health of the turbo and how conservative the tuner kept the smoke/EGT limits.

On your specific questions:
  • This is a generic Stage 2 file, not custom-built for a downpipe + larger intercooler. It'll run with a downpipe fine (DPF logic is already off), but it won't be optimized to exploit the extra flow/cooling.
  • To actually take advantage of a bigger IC and free-flowing exhaust you'd want a custom read/write with logging, not an off-the-shelf map.

If you want, tell me your exact setup — full ECU read type (full/partial), current HW/SW, turbo (stock VNT or hybrid), fuel and mods list — and I can point you at what limiters would need attention.

Cheers mate, glad it's useful.

On the logging side — ISTA live data logs aren't really the ideal source for tuning work. ISTA gives you diagnostic-oriented values and fairly coarse sample rates, so for proper file work you want faster, tuner-focused logging (rail pressure actual vs. requested, boost actual vs. requested, IQ/injection quantity, MAF, rail pressure regulator duty, EGT if available). Tools like INPA/ediabas logging or a dedicated logger pull those channels much better on the EDC16.

That said, ISTA logs aren't useless — they're fine for a first sanity check on boost tracking and coolant/intake temps.

To be clear on what I can actually do here: I can help you read the logs, spot limiter/overboost/smoke-limit behaviour and suggest what to touch in the map. Whether an actual paid file-modification service is offered is an admin/seller matter — that's Bin's side, not something I can confirm.

If you want to start, post:

  • Your full ECU read (full/partial) + current HW/SW
  • Turbo setup (stock VNT or hybrid) and current mods
  • A log covering a full-throttle 3rd/4th gear pull — boost req vs actual, rail req vs actual, IQ, and intake/EGT temps

With that I can tell you whether the limiters are what's holding you back before touching anything.
