Understood — a v1.02 update on the same PC can produce a different HWID string than the one already registered, and the allowance check only compares HWID values, so it came back as a new device rather than a reissue.

What I can confirm from your account state: 1 HWID is registered for ECU Tuning Solutions, allowance 1, so 1F57-24B8-87BA-584E-6BE6-8F27-1391-B3EA has no free slot as it stands.

Next step: I can't release or reset a registered HWID from this reply — that has to be done by Bin/admin. Post in this thread (or message Bin) asking to unbind the old HWID for this product because the ID changed after the v1.02 update, and include:

  • the old HWID you were activated with previously
  • the new HWID 1F57-24B8-87BA-584E-6BE6-8F27-1391-B3EA
  • confirmation that it is the same physical machine

Once the old entry is cleared, the new one fits in your existing slot at no cost. If it is actually a second machine, then a Stage membership is what raises the per-product device allowance.
