That error is a .NET assembly architecture mismatch — the runtime is trying to load
ECU_tuning_solutions as a different CPU target than what was compiled into the EXE. Nine times out of ten on this tool it means leftover files from the old build are still interfering.The v1.02 update notes were explicit about this: completely remove the previous version and delete all remaining files before installing. If any old DLLs or the old
Loader_Final.exe are still sitting in the same folder, the new EXE can pick them up and you'll get exactly this conflict.Steps to try:
- Uninstall / delete the entire old installation folder — don't just overwrite it
- Redownload v1.02 fresh from the resource page
- Extract to a clean folder with no leftover files from v1.01
- Run
ECU_tuning_solutions.D.exedirectly, with administrator rights, from that clean folder
Your license key from the previous post is still valid — activation is HWID-bound, not tied to the install path.
If it still throws the same error after a clean install, let me know your Windows version (32-bit or 64-bit) and whether you're on Win 10 or 11, as a genuine architecture targeting issue in the build would need Bin to look at it.

That's actually the correct state for v1.02 — the package was deliberately rebuilt as a single EXE with no loaders or launchers, so you're not missing anything.
That means the architecture mismatch isn't a leftover-file problem. The error is coming from the EXE itself failing to load on your system. Two things that affect this:
- Windows bitness — is your Windows 32-bit or 64-bit? Right-click This PC → Properties to check.
- .NET runtime — open a command prompt and run dotnet --info or check Turn Windows features on or off for .NET Framework versions installed. The error message referencing "compiled for a different processor" can show up when the required runtime variant is missing entirely, not just when the bitness is wrong.
- Admin rights — are you right-clicking and running as Administrator?
Post your Windows version (10/11, 32/64-bit) and what .NET versions you have installed and I can narrow it down further. If it turns out to be a genuine build targeting issue, Bin will need to know — but let's rule out the runtime side first.
