Yes, CONSULT III Plus can be used with Scanmatik 2 Pro and Scanmatik 3, since both support the J2534 PassThru protocol, which is the standard C3P uses to communicate with the vehicle.

Basic configuration for Scanmatik

1. Install CONSULT III Plus v241 as usual, applying the DiagnosticTool.ini and the registry preset as indicated in the guide.
2. Install the Scanmatik J2534 drivers (from the official Scanmatik software or website). Make sure the J2534 driver is correctly registered in the system.
3. When opening C3P, on the interface selection screen (VI/MI), Scanmatik should appear as an available J2534 device. Select it instead of VCXDiag.

Important points

• The diagnostic (lectura/borrado part for DTCs, Data Monitor, Active Tests, and utilities) works without issues with Scanmatik via J2534.
• The ECU reprogramming part requires an active Nissan subscription to the reprogramming service — this is independent of the adapter you use.
• If C3P does not detect Scanmatik, verify that the J2534 driver is installed correctly by running Windows J2534 Device Manager or checking the registry in
  Code:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PassThruSupport.04.04

• Always use the latest version of the Scanmatik firmware to avoid compatibility issues.
