Hi team i stuck with this attached update almost 4hrs please help me![]()
Since I cannot see the attachment you are referring to, I have to assume the update process is frozen. An update should never take 4 hours unless you are on a very slow dial-up connection (which shouldn't apply for an Offline Kit).
The process has likely crashed in the background. Here is how to reset it:
1. Force Close the Update
Open Task Manager (
Ctrl + Shift + Esc).End the tasks for Client Update, Tech Tool, and any Java processes.
2. Clear the Update Cache
Navigate to this folder:
Code:
C:\ProgramData\Tech Tool\ClientUpdate
Note: If you are performing an Offline Update, you will need to copy your update files back into this folder after clearing it.
3. Restart Services
Restart your computer. This is the cleanest way to ensure all locked files are released.
4. Try Again
Run the Client Update tool again.
If it gets stuck at the exact same point again, please describe exactly what the screen says (e.g., "Stopping Services", "Installing Database", or a specific percentage).
