Opel EEPROM PIN Picker is a portable offline Windows calculator for extracting security PIN data from specific Opel module EEPROM layouts. It provides two clearly separated paths: SH7058-related EEPROM data and UEC/REC serial EEPROM data used in supported Astra H and Zafira B electrical modules.
Supported vehicles, ECUs and files#
The application interface explicitly identifies an SH7058 EEPROM input and a UEC/REC 95040 path, with 25040/95040 labeling visible for the under-hood or rear electrical-center workflow. This is a file-format calculator, not a universal Opel PIN database. Module label, memory device, dump size and data integrity must all match the chosen path.- Supported SH7058 EEPROM binary layouts recognized by the first calculator path.
- UEC or REC 25040/95040 EEPROM dumps used by supported Astra H and Zafira B modules.
- Offline extraction only; no CAN, OBD, key programming or direct module read/write is performed.
Functions#
- Load a binary into the matching SH7058 or UEC/REC workflow.
- Decode and display the PIN stored in a supported layout.
- Keep separate module/memory algorithms in one compact interface.
- Allow validation before the result is used with an authorized diagnostic procedure.
System and hardware requirements#
- A Windows PC with a compatible .NET Framework environment.
- A suitable EEPROM/MCU programmer and the correct pinout or safe module-access method.
- At least two matching reads plus the module part number and confirmed memory type.
- A separate Opel-capable diagnostic tool for security access or module programming.
Recommended workflow#
- Identify whether the source is SH7058 data or a UEC/REC serial EEPROM; never guess from filename alone.
- Make repeated reads, compare hashes and archive the untouched original.
- Choose the corresponding calculator path and record the result without altering the dump.
- Validate the PIN in the correct service procedure and stop after any unexpected security response.
