In the EQE (W295), when the airbag control unit triggers, it sends a signal to the Pyrofuse (Pyrotechnic Separator) to physically explode and cut the High Voltage (HV) line to prevent a fire.

You cannot fix this with software alone.

Here is the step-by-step repair procedure for a crash-locked EQE:

1. The Pyrofuse (Hardware Check)
If the airbags went off, the Pyrofuse is 99% likely blown.
  • This fuse is located in the F32 or F33 Pre-Fuse Box (usually near the 12V battery or under the cowl).

The BMS (Battery Management System) allows discharging (driving) to get you to a shop, but it disables charging (AC and DC) to prevent a fire risk while the car is unattended.
