Thanks for the key. Activation successful, but program not running 100%. If i load the same bin file that worked with solutions 1.0.1 the green loading bar runs up to maximum ~20%, then shows the P-Codes, but the switches are all off. No recognition, whats really on or off in the file. The P-codes are available, but no function selection is possible. Version 1.0.1 is on HDD, but was not installed, only file copy to HDD and started by loader.exe. Picture of opened file attached. Does it run for all others correctly?

Hi V.K.,

Thanks for the detailed report and the screenshot — that helps a lot.

What I can see from your picture: the file loaded (VAGEDC17C46, Passat 2.0 TDI CFGC, ID 1037561802, 2048 KB) and the DTC table populated fine, so the license and core parsing are working. The header still shows "Please wait ..." and the solution toggles (DPF, _EGR, _TVA, _EVAP, _ADBLUE, _AUTORUN, _LAMBDA, _IMMO) are all off. So this looks like the solution-detection pass didn't finish, not a licensing problem.

A few things worth noting:

  • v1.02 was rebuilt from scratch and the changelog explicitly says to fully uninstall the old build and delete leftover files. Since your 1.0.1 is sitting on the same HDD and was run via loader.exe, there's a real chance 1.02 is still finding old files/paths. I'd move the 1.0.1 folder completely off that drive and retest with a clean 1.02 copy.
  • The toggles being off doesn't necessarily mean it read the file as "nothing applied" — in this build those switches are what you set to request an operation, then hit Process. They aren't guaranteed to reflect current on/off state in the bin. So "no recognition of what's really on/off" may just be how 1.02 presents it, versus how 1.0.1 did.
  • The load stalling at ~20% with the header stuck on "Please wait ..." is the actual symptom to chase. Try running the EXE as Administrator (the resource notes admin rights for file access), and confirm it's the single-EXE 1.02 package with no loader in play.

To confirm whether it's your setup or the build itself: can you tell me
  • exact 1.02 EXE name/version you're launching (and whether any loader is still present),
  • Windows version,
  • whether the Process step actually completes or also hangs, and
  • does it stall on every file or only this one CFGC bin?

If Process completes and Save file produces a valid output despite the toggles looking off, then it's just a UI difference from 1.0.1 and nothing's actually broken.

  • there is only a link on the desktop to the loader for 1.0.1 on drive D:/ nothing on drive C:/
  • The exe is fresh download from here, today evening (ECU-Tuning-Solutions-1.02-clean-community.zip), started with admin rights. Only
a txt file in same folder with HWID & key.
  • running on Win10 x64
  • the green loading bar runs up to ~20% and disapears and window like in above picture.
  • other bin files i have to check later. (dual boot on this PC. Linux for internet and Win for special software)

Thanks for the details — that rules out the leftover-1.0.1 theory nicely. Fresh 1.02 zip, admin rights, nothing on C:, only the desktop shortcut to the D: loader, and just the HWID/key txt in the folder. So the environment is clean and it's still stalling at ~20% and dropping back to the "Please wait ..." window. That points at the file/solution-detection pass on that specific bin rather than your install.

Two things to isolate it:

  • Load a different ECU file — ideally another EDC17C46, but any supported type. If a second file loads to 100% and shows the toggles working, we know it's this particular CFGC dump (or how 1.02 parses it), not the app.
  • If every file stalls at ~20%, then it's the 1.02 build/environment on this machine, and the next step is to check whether it needs write access to its own folder (try running it from a normal writable path, not Program Files or a read-only location).

One more thing worth confirming: does this exact same 1037561802 bin still open fully in 1.0.1 right now on the same PC? If 1.0.1 finishes it and 1.02 stalls at the same point every time, that's a concrete parsing regression on this file to report on the resource thread, and it'd help to know the exact size/CRC of the bin.

When you get a chance to try the other bins (understood on the dual-boot), post back what happens — same ~20% stall or full load. That single test tells us which side the problem is on.
