What's the best version if I have an older 2007 e-92? I installed the 4.53.40 version, but I'm having trouble connecting. I changed the com port and latency, added the obd files, and changed the values as well, but still can't connect. Thanks for the uploads.
I think the latest versions are best. I remember for example 4.15.16 where you need to configure everything by yourself. This and other previous standalone versions do everything by themself (maybe still not work with your setup). Maybe give some specific information about your problem

Ah okay maybe I shouldn't have added the obd files / messed with the ports. Thanks for replying so fast. I'll try again. Just noticed an update was posted today.

I dont exactly know about your 4.53 version if it's standalone or whatever. If you have trouble post your exact problem. We/I dont know how you are trying to connect. Honestly I also don't really know what "obd files" mean exactly. Yeah I did not try the recent update but the version before worked fine for me

Yea, sorry for being so unspecific. I'm trying to connect with a d-can on the 4.53 standalone. I believe the older versions you had to write in STD:OBD for the interface in the ediabas.ini file. They also had a obd.ini file which need the correct com port value. I think I just complicated everything for no reason.

DCAN is what I was doing with that old version. Unfortunately it is years ago and I dont remember exactly what I did. But what I remember is editing ini files and having the correct driver installed. As far I can remember USB Serial Port needs 1ms latency and the USB serial port needs to be the same as shown in device manager. But all in all I cannot tell for the newer versions. The only thing I see is a link on desktop "ICOM-ENET or DCAN Switch ". Never used it.

Since you were unable to download the teacher's download file, information about the teacher's download file will be passed on to Ken.
Did you say that the address had changed?

I can't become like you, sir, but that doesn't mean I can become one either.

When installing the program, I'm asked to enter a password.
Please let me know who this code belongs to.

I tried to extract the archive and run the installer, but even after entering the password "binunlock.com", I keep getting the error message "An error occurred while extracting." The same error occurs whether I open the archive directly or after extracting it. I downloaded the file today, so I don't think the download itself is the problem. I'm not very familiar with this kind of thing, but could anyone help me? Thank you very much.

thanks a lot i just didnt see the new pasword. The installation went fine but in the instructions it tells D-CAN users , which i am with an e61 535xd , to use the "ICOM-ENET or DCAN Switch" shortcut which i cant find in any file. Maybe you guys can also help me with this issue , otherwise im sure there is a way to manually chnage it even though its probaply more advanced and time consuming. thanks for your help and future help
