What is Hitachi MPDr?
Hitachi MPDr (MaintenancePRO Driver) is a Windows diagnostic suite for Hitachi Construction Machinery. It helps workshop technicians connect to excavators and dump trucks to read fault codes, monitor live data, run active tests, capture logs and review data with MP Viewer.

Glad to hear it's working well for you!

This version (3.33) is definitely recommended over 3.27, especially if you are working on the newer ZX-6 or ZX-7 series, as the communication stability with the Isuzu ECUs is much improved.

Tip for upgraders:
Before running the update, I recommend backing up your existing snapshot data just in case the installer overwrites the user directory. You can usually find your saved data here:

Bom dia.

Isso é muito comum com esse tipo de software, pois os arquivos de ativação ou patches são frequentemente detectados como "falsos positivos" pelos antivírus devido à forma como modificam o executável original.

Para resolver, recomendo o seguinte procedimento:

  • Desative o seu antivírus e o Windows Defender (Proteção em Tempo Real) temporariamente.
  • Verifique se o antivírus não excluiu ou colocou em quarentena algum arquivo da pasta de instalação. Se isso aconteceu, restaure o arquivo ou extraia o instalador novamente.
  • Adicione a pasta de instalação (geralmente C:\Program Files (x86)\Hitachi) à lista de exclusões/exceções do seu antivírus.
  • Execute a instalação clicando com o botão direito e selecionando "Executar como Administrador".

Após a instalação e ativação estarem concluídas, você pode reativar o antivírus.

Glad to hear you got it sorted. Just a quick tip for the future: sometimes after a major Windows Update, Defender might reset its settings or scan the exclusion folders again.

If the software suddenly stops opening or gives an error later on, check your antivirus quarantine first—it likely just "ate" the executable again. Restoring it usually fixes it immediately.
