Intended as a Stage 1 refinement, the calibration broadens the 1.6 HDI’s torque plateau while maintaining factory-smooth manners. EGR flow and its diagnostics are fully disabled, keeping the intake charge cleaner over time. Torque, boost and smoke limiters are rescaled with balanced air-fuel targets so the six-speed driveline remains within OEM load margins during everyday commuting. Cold-start, idle and part-throttle zones are retuned to preserve stock fuel economy on cruise yet deliver crisper response in traffic.
