GM Anti-Theft PIN Calculator is an offline VIN-input utility for selected General Motors security-code schemes. Its interface accepts a complete vehicle identification number and returns a PIN when the VIN pattern and calculation family are recognized. This is a focused calculator, not a diagnostic or key-programming application.
VIN-based PIN support is market and model-year specific. Technical references for broader code-calculator systems document coverage for selected Latin American Chevrolet, Opel/Vauxhall, Holden and GM identifiers rather than every GM vehicle worldwide. A result must therefore be validated against market, WMI and official service data.

What this resource is for#
Use the calculator as a reference during authorized immobilizer, key or module service where a supported GM platform requires a PIN. It should supplement, not replace, proof of ownership and the OEM security-access process.Confirmed functions#
- Accept a complete VIN as the calculation input
- Query a supported anti-theft PIN algorithm
- Display the calculated result for an authorized service session
- Operate offline without connecting to a vehicle
- Leave diagnostic communication, key learning and module programming to a separate service tool
Supported vehicles, controllers and files#
- Selected GM-family VIN algorithms recognized by this build
- Reference coverage for similar systems includes Latin American Chevrolet and related regional GM identifiers
- World Manufacturer Identifier, assembly market and model year affect calculation support
- Many North American and newer secure platforms use dealer or online processes and may not be supported
- The application UI does not prove universal all-GM coverage despite the original folder label
Package contents#
- Single portable GM PIN calculator executable
- Original source screenshot
- Unsigned native executable inspected statically without execution
- No customer VIN list, database dump, key material or diagnostic software is included
System, hardware and interface requirements#
- Windows workstation or isolated VM
- Complete seventeen-character VIN copied from the vehicle and verified against ownership documents
- Knowledge of market, WMI, model year and requested security procedure
- Authorized OEM-capable diagnostic/key tool for the subsequent operation
- Secure handling and deletion of customer identity and calculated code
Recommended workshop workflow#
- Verify ownership and transcribe the VIN from two independent locations
- Confirm market and WMI before calculation
- Enter the VIN exactly and record whether the tool recognizes it
- Cross-check the result with an approved source where possible
- Use it only in the matching live service procedure
- Remove the VIN and PIN from screenshots, logs and public discussion posts
Compatibility limits and responsible use#
- This tool is not confirmed for every GM, Chevrolet, Opel, Buick, Cadillac or Holden vehicle
- A syntactically valid VIN can belong to an unsupported market
- The calculator does not bypass time delays, security credentials or OEM authorization
- A calculated code alone does not establish ownership
- Do not publish VINs or PINs in the support discussion
Troubleshooting#
- No result: recheck all VIN characters and verify the market is supported
- PIN rejected: confirm that the vehicle requires the same code family and that no security wait is active
- VIN has I, O or Q: correct the transcription because those characters are not valid VIN letters
- Newer vehicle: use the official online security process rather than guessing
- Repeated failures: stop before the module locks and verify service information
