PedroSoft ECU Tool — EGR, DPF, AdBlue and Flaps File Editor

PedroSoft ECU Tool — EGR, DPF, AdBlue and Flaps File Editor 1.3

PedroSoft ECU Tool is an offline binary processor built around a library of ABC definition templates. After a firmware file is opened, the program identifies the controller family, scans its definitions and reports which EGR, DPF, AdBlue or intake-flap operations have a matching template.

This release is not a universal one-click solution. The supplied library targets specific software layouts, and the on-screen MATCH FOUND result must be checked against the exact part number and a verified original read before a modified file is written to an ECU.

What this resource is for#

The application is designed for bench-file analysis and controlled calibration work. It can automate known byte-pattern changes when a supplied template matches, while also offering a template-creation function for experienced users who understand the binary structure.

Confirmed functions#

  • Automatic directory scan for matching ABC definitions
  • Selectable EGR, DPF, AdBlue and intake-flap operations where templates exist
  • Create ABC option for building additional definitions
  • Detected ECU type and matching-definition log shown before modification starts
  • Output-file workflow that leaves the original read available as a backup

Supported controllers, files and vehicles#

  • Bosch EDC17C46, EDC17C64 and EDC17C74
  • Bosch EDC17CP14 and EDC17CP20
  • Siemens PCR2.1 and PPD diesel families
  • Selected VAG EDC15 and VAG Magneti Marelli layouts
  • Template folders contain software-number-specific definitions; controller-family coverage does not mean every firmware revision is supported

Package contents#

  • Main PedroSoft application
  • More than one hundred ABC definitions grouped by ECU family and requested operation
  • Templates whose filenames expose numerous VAG software identifiers for matching
  • No program or template was executed during preparation

System and interface requirements#

  • Windows PC with permission to read and write a local working folder
  • Complete ECU binary read from a suitable bench, boot or OBD programming tool
  • Enough storage for original, working and modified copies
  • Separate checksum verification when the chosen programming workflow does not correct it automatically

  • Read the ECU twice and confirm identical hashes
  • Open a copy of the original and record the detected controller and software identity
  • Enable only the operation required for the repair and confirm that the corresponding template reports a match
  • Start modification and save the result under a new descriptive filename
  • Compare changed regions, verify checksum handling and retain the original before programming

Compatibility limits and responsible use#

  • No-match status means the current library does not support that exact file
  • A similarly named part number is not sufficient evidence that a template is compatible
  • Emissions-related changes may be restricted to off-road, motorsport or lawful repair use depending on jurisdiction
  • The application does not diagnose wiring, sensors, dosing hardware or mechanical EGR/DPF faults

Troubleshooting#

  • If the ECU type is detected but every operation shows no match, verify file size and software number
  • If a template appears to match an implausible file, stop and compare the target bytes manually
  • If the programmed ECU does not start, restore the original verified read before any further experiment

File integrity and safety notes#

The source archive was fully tested and extracted, nested containers were opened where present, and executable files were inspected statically without being launched. Keep the original ECU or module read immutable, work only on copies, verify output size and checksum requirements, and use stable power plus a proven recovery method before any write operation. No claim is made that an unsigned executable is malware-free; use a dedicated analysis environment and scan with your own current security tools.
