Sounds good. Just a quick reminder: if Defender already quarantined the files during your first attempt, simply turning it off now might not be enough if you are trying to run the same extracted files.
You should:
1. Delete the failed extraction folder.
2. Disable Defender (Real-time protection).
3. Re-extract the archive fresh.
4. Add that specific folder to the Defender Exclusions list before turning protection back on.
Also, right-click the downloaded ZIP file, go to Properties, and check Unblock at the bottom right if you see it. That prevents Windows from silently blocking the executables.
