Bosch EDC15C2 EDC15C7 IMMO Off Tool for PSA FCA Suzuki Jeep

Bosch EDC15C2 EDC15C7 IMMO Off Tool for PSA FCA Suzuki Jeep 1.0a

EDC15C2 & EDC15C7 IMMO Tool#

EDC15C2 & EDC15C7 IMMO Tool is a compact offline utility for processing supported Bosch EDC15C2 and EDC15C7 immobilizer files used in selected FCA, PSA, Suzuki and Jeep applications.

The program works with previously read 5P08 EEPROM and 29F400 flash files and provides dedicated IMMO OFF and checksum processing functions.

This is a file-processing utility only. It does not connect directly to the vehicle or read and write the physical ECU.

Main Functions#

  • IMMO OFF processing for supported Bosch EDC15C2 files
  • IMMO OFF processing for supported Bosch EDC15C7 files
  • Support for compatible 5P08 EEPROM dumps
  • Support for compatible 29F400 flash files
  • Dedicated CKSM checksum processing function
  • Separate ECU and memory-type selection
  • Simple portable Windows interface

Supported Applications#

The interface provides solutions for selected vehicles from:

  • FCA — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
  • PSA — Peugeot and Citroën
  • Suzuki
  • Jeep

Supported ECU selections:

  • Bosch EDC15C2
  • Bosch EDC15C7

Available memory selections:

  • 5P08 EEPROM
  • 29F400 flash

Important: Compatibility depends on the exact ECU hardware, software version, vehicle application and internal file structure. The presence of an ECU family or vehicle group in the program does not guarantee support for every available variant.

Package Contents#

The downloaded package contains:

  • EDC15C2_EDC15C7_IMMO_TOOL.exe — main application
  • EDC15C2_EDC15C7_IMMO_TOOL.exe.config — required application configuration

Keep both files together in the same folder. Do not rename or remove the configuration file.

Installation and Startup#

  1. Download the complete archive.
  2. Create a separate folder, for example:
    C:\EDC15_IMMO_TOOL\
  3. Fully extract both included files into this folder.
  4. Do not launch the application directly from the ZIP archive.
  5. Run:
    EDC15C2_EDC15C7_IMMO_TOOL.exe

No separate installation procedure is required.

Working with ECU Files#

  1. Read the required EEPROM or flash memory using compatible professional equipment.
  2. Preserve the untouched original file in a secure backup location.
  3. Create a separate working copy before processing.
  4. Launch the application.
  5. Select EDC15C2 or EDC15C7.
  6. Select the correct memory type: 5P08 or 29F400.
  7. Click OPEN and load the working file.
  8. Use INFO to review any available information for the selected solution.
  9. Click IMMO to apply the supported immobilizer modification.
  10. Use CKSM where checksum processing is required.
  11. Save the processed result under a new filename.
  12. Verify the final file before writing it back to the ECU.

Never overwrite the only available copy of the original EEPROM or flash file.

Choosing the Correct File#

The selected memory type must correspond to the actual data read from the ECU:

  • Select 5P08 only when processing a valid 5P08 EEPROM dump
  • Select 29F400 only when processing the appropriate flash memory file
  • Do not rename an unrelated file to make it appear compatible
  • Do not substitute a partial, virtual or damaged read for the required memory content

A file with an expected extension or size is not automatically guaranteed to contain the correct ECU data.

Checksum Information#

The program includes a dedicated CKSM function for supported files.

Checksum requirements may differ according to the selected ECU, memory type and programming method. Always verify whether the resulting file requires additional checksum correction before writing it back to the control unit.

Do not repeatedly process the same file with several unrelated checksum tools unless the correct procedure for that ECU is known.

Important Notes#

  • Always preserve an untouched backup of the original file
  • Confirm the exact ECU type before processing
  • Select the correct EEPROM or flash memory option
  • Save every modified result under a separate filename
  • Verify the processed file and checksum before programming
  • Use a stable vehicle power supply during ECU writing
  • Use compatible professional reading and programming equipment
  • Do not interrupt an active ECU programming operation
  • Use the software only for authorized ECU replacement, immobilizer repair and vehicle recovery
