KIA HYUNDAI IMMO OFF STUDIO#
KIA HYUNDAI IMMO OFF STUDIO is an offline ECU file-processing utility for supported Kia and Hyundai engine control units.
The program processes compatible full FLASH, EEPROM, MPC and FLASH BOOT READ files and provides dedicated IMMO OFF solutions for selected Siemens/Continental, Bosch and other ECU families.
The package also includes separate Bosch/Ultimo and L-Suite checksum correction utilities.
The software processes previously read ECU files only. It does not communicate directly with the vehicle or read/write the physical ECU.
Main Functions#
- IMMO OFF processing for supported Kia and Hyundai ECU files
- Support for full FLASH, EEPROM, MPC and FLASH BOOT READ formats
- Dedicated selection of the exact ECU family
- Automatic checking of required file size for supported solutions
- Additional signature or IMMO-area validation for selected ECU types
- Separate Bosch checksum correction utility
- Integrated access to the included Ultimo checksum tool
- L-Suite checksum correction support
- Processed file saving without directly modifying the physical ECU
The main interface provides the following controls:
- OPEN — load the source ECU file
- IMMO OFF — process the selected supported ECU file
- INFO — display information for the selected solution
- BOSCH CHECKSUM CORRECTOR — open the Bosch/Ultimo checksum utility
- LSUITE CHECKSUM CORRECTOR — open the included L-Suite checksum utility
Supported ECU and File Coverage#
The current package covers 39 ECU/file variants:
- 33 full FLASH variants
- 6 partial or special memory-area variants
Full FLASH means that the complete required FLASH file must be loaded. It does not mean that checksum correction is automatically included.

File Validation Information#
Different ECU solutions use different validation methods:
- File size only — the application confirms that the loaded file has the required size, but the user must still verify the exact ECU and software version
- Size and signature — the application checks both the expected file size and a supported internal file signature
- Size and IMMO block — the application checks the file size and a recognized immobilizer-data area
A file having the correct size does not automatically guarantee compatibility. Always select the exact ECU family and verify the source file before processing.
Checksum Correction#
IMMO OFF processing does not automatically guarantee that the resulting file has a corrected checksum.
Depending on the selected ECU family and file, checksum correction must be performed separately through one of the included utilities:
- Bosch Checksum Corrector / Ultimo
- L-Suite Checksum Corrector
The correct checksum tool depends on the ECU family and file structure. Do not apply multiple checksum correction methods to the same file without confirming that they are compatible.
Always verify the final result before writing it back to the ECU.

Installation#
- Download the complete ZIP archive.
- Create the following folder directly on drive C:
C:\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO\ - Fully extract the contents of the archive into this folder.
- Confirm that the main application is located at:
C:\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO.exe - Do not run the software directly from the ZIP archive.
- Do not create an additional duplicate folder level such as:
C:\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO\ - For L-Suite checksum support, install the included 32-bit Visual C++ runtime once:
C:\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO\L-Suite_1.03 checksum\vcredist_x86.exe - After installation, run:
KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO.exe
License Activation#
License requests are processed in the Discussion thread of this resource.
At the first launch, the registration window will display a hardware identifier.
Post your activation request using the following format:
Code:
HWID:
- Copy the complete HWID exactly as displayed by the application.
- Post your name, email and HWID in the resource discussion.
- Wait until your personal activation key is provided.
- Return to the registration window.
- Enter exactly the same name and email address used in the activation request.
- Paste the received activation key into the corresponding field.
- Click Activate.
After successful activation, the main window will open with the ECU selection list and the OPEN, IMMO OFF, INFO and checksum correction controls.
The activation key is generated for the submitted registration information and HWID. Changing the name, email or computer may cause the key to be rejected.
Working with ECU Files#
- Read the required ECU memory area using compatible professional equipment.
- Keep the untouched original file in a secure backup location.
- Create a separate working copy.
- Launch KIA HYUNDAI IMMO OFF STUDIO.
- Select the exact ECU family from the list on the left.
- Click OPEN and load the required full FLASH, EEPROM, MPC or FLASH BOOT READ file.
- Confirm that the file size and selected ECU type are correct.
- Click IMMO OFF.
- Save the processed file under a new and clearly identifiable filename.
- Do not overwrite the only available original file.
- Where required, perform checksum correction through Bosch/Ultimo or L-Suite.
- Verify the final file before programming it back to the ECU.
The processed file should always be treated as a new working result. Preserve both the untouched original and the processed version.
File Missing Error#
If the program displays:
File missing!check the following:
- The complete folder was extracted directly to:
C:\KIA_HYUNDAI_IMMO_OFF_STUDIO\ - The main EXE was not moved to another directory
- The Dlls folder is present
- The L-Suite_1.03 checksum folder is present
- kia-kеуg**.dll, options.ini, a2.BIN and ultimo.exe have not been removed or quarantined
- The application is not being launched directly from the compressed archive
Do not download replacement DLL or EXE files from unrelated websites.
Important Notes#
- Always preserve the untouched original ECU read
- Use the exact memory area required for the selected solution
- Do not substitute a virtual read when a full FLASH, MPC or EEPROM file is required
- Do not assume checksum correction is included in the IMMO OFF operation
- Confirm the selected ECU family before processing
- Verify all processed files before programming
- Use a stable vehicle power supply during ECU writing
- Use compatible professional reading and programming equipment
- Use the software only for authorized ECU replacement, immobilizer repair and vehicle recovery
- Do not use the software on a vehicle without the owner’s permission
