Description
Autocinetorum SeedKey Calculator is a Windows utility for calculating diagnostic Seed-to-Key security access values for selected automotive electronic control units.
The application includes calculation profiles for Hyundai / Kia SA2, Chery, Chinese electric vehicle brands and various Chinese ECU families.
It is intended for automotive diagnostic specialists working with ECU security access during supported service, configuration and programming procedures.
What is Seed-to-Key Calculation?
Many automotive control units use a security access mechanism in which the ECU provides a hexadecimal Seed and expects a corresponding calculated Key.
Autocinetorum SeedKey Calculator allows users to select an available algorithm profile, enter the seed and calculate the corresponding hexadecimal key.
The application performs calculations from manually supplied data. It is not an OBD diagnostic interface and does not independently communicate with the vehicle.
Available Calculation Families
1. Korea SA2 — Hyundai / Kia
The program includes 137 selectable SA2 algorithm IDs with supported seed lengths of 2, 4 and 8 bytes, depending on the selected ID.
Examples include:
The profiles are identified by SA2 algorithm IDs rather than specific vehicle models or production years.
Not every known SA2 identifier is included in the available calculation list.
2. Chery OLD Family
Includes 48 ECU and module-specific calculation entries from older Chery diagnostic families.
Available definitions cover selected modules such as:
The menu contains internal identifiers associated with Chery A13, A16, A19, A21, B-series, M-series, T-series and other module definitions.
Most profiles use 2-byte seeds, with specific exceptions requiring 4 bytes.
3. China EV Brands
The application contains 46 selectable entries under the China EV Brands category.
Local calculation routines are present for 31 entries, including profiles labelled for:
These profiles use 4-byte seed input.
Important: The presence of a brand in the calculation menu does not guarantee compatibility with every ECU or vehicle produced by that manufacturer.
Fifteen additional EV entries appear in the menu but do not have implemented local calculations in this build. These include XPeng, NIO, Leapmotor, WM Motor, Seres and other listed brands.
4. China Gas — ECU Families
Includes 13 calculation profiles for selected Chinese vehicle and control-unit applications.
Examples include:
These are individual calculation variants, not universal support for every ECU using the same manufacturer or family name.
5. China Gas — Keyed Algorithms
Four additional profiles require a supplementary parameter:
The required parameter must be known for the specific application. The software does not automatically determine it.

Important
This software is a diagnostic security-access calculator, not a complete ECU programming or vehicle key programming application.
Use the correct algorithm and input format for the target ECU, and perform security-access operations only on vehicles or control units you are authorized to service.

5. China Gas — Keyed Algorithms
Four additional profiles require a supplementary parameter:
- ZZNissan calc_key — Security Mask
- Dorcen ECU — Configuration parameter
- Spec ESP — Mode selection
- Bootloader (Comm) — Additional hexadecimal parameter
The required parameter must be known for the specific application. The software does not automatically determine it.
Main Features
- Hexadecimal Seed-to-Key calculation.
- Multiple manufacturer and ECU algorithm categories.
- 137 selectable Hyundai / Kia SA2 IDs.
- 48 Chery OLD family definitions.
- Chinese EV calculation profiles.
- Selected Bosch, Delphi and other ECU security algorithms.
- Support for different seed lengths depending on the profile.
- Additional parameter input for supported keyed algorithms.
- Simple Windows interface with family and ECU selection.
How to Use
- Launch Autocinetorum SeedKey Calculator.
- Select the required algorithm family.
- Choose the appropriate ECU, brand or SA2 identifier.
- Enter the hexadecimal seed obtained from the diagnostic session.
- Provide an additional parameter if the selected algorithm requires one.
- Click Calculate.
- Review the hexadecimal result in the Key field.
Compatibility Notes
- Calculation availability depends on the exact selected profile.
- The listed algorithm IDs do not establish compatibility with particular vehicle models or production years.
- Some Chinese EV entries are listed in the interface without an implemented calculation routine.
- Certain EV calculation routines use only part of the supplied seed; results require verification against the intended ECU.
- Some security algorithms require additional information that cannot be derived from the seed alone.
- A calculated result does not guarantee that the target ECU will accept the key.
